I use your IP address to help diagnose problems with the server and to administer the website. It gives me a good indication of where my visitors are coming from as well. your IP address is simply a set of numbers that tells me who your Internet Service Provider (ISP) is, it gives me no personal information whatsoever about you. Your ISP, however, can track you down using this information. This is important for me to track people that may become a legal problem. In other words, you can run but you can't hide. No one else will ever get any IP address information from my website (unless you fall into one of those abuse categories above). I do not share ANY information with ANY other website, business, or other entity of any kind (again, unless you are being abusive to me or this website). Basically, as long as you play nice, you'll be OK.

I have outside companies who display ads on the site. These ads may contain cookies. I do not have any control over these nor do I ever receive any information from them. Simply disable all 3rd party cookies if you are concerned. It will not affect your visit in any way.

There are no longer ANY registration forms on this website. The only forms here now are contact forms, which only require your contact information so a return message can be sent.

This site occasionally uses order forms for customers to request information, products, and services. I collect contact information (like email and street address, real name, etc.). Contact information from the order forms is used to ship products and purchases. The customer's contact information is also used to get in touch with them when necessary. No one but my billing and/or shipping dept (which is me, by the way) will ever get any of your personal information from this website. Financial information (like bank account or credit card numbers) is collected by an outside company called PayPal. I no longer deal directly with bank or credit card information. I have found PayPal to be secure, safe, and free to use for the buyer (unlike other services which charge extra). You can use any major credit card or your PayPal account, and they also have a Debit Visa or MasterCard that you can use at any ATM or in any store. The card is free to get and there is also no fee for using it, unless the ATM or Store charges you a fee of their own (which would apply to any other card you had as well). Note that my site can now accept payments from anyone with a major credit card as well as PayPal and US Postal* money orders. You no longer need a PayPal account to use my payment pages, but you can still use your PayPal account with them.

*US Postal money orders must be mailed. You cannot use the payment page to submit them as payment. Don't worry, it just takes longer.

My online surveys (I occasionally add a survey here or there) ask visitors for contact information (like their email address). Contact information from the surveys is used to request feedback about my site and its services. The customer's contact information is also used to get in touch with them when necessary. No one else will ever have access to this information and I will not use this information for any purpose other than what is stated here. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below. (Please note that this does not include any mailing list of any kind, it is simply an opt-out of future personal contact. I really try not to bother anyone and any mailings are generally for the benefit of my customers and/or website visitors. I almost never do any mass mailings. The only time I would is if there was a known issue that might require contact with everyone I can reach. Just about the only reason for this would be if someone hacked my website or email servers and sent out a virus, etc., and that is very unlikely to happen.)

PLEASE NOTE - Every link to an outside website will open in a new window. This is done for your benefit as well as mine. It helps you when you wish to return to the page that got you to the external link, just by closing the added open window or tab. It helps me for the same reason. Sometimes, people get lost while surfing and forget what site sent them where. This way, there is no such problem.
This site contains links to other sites. Customs by Ripper is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those websites. I do my best to limit the access of any materials that may be objectionable, I.E. adult content, nudity, etc. (this site is, after all, rated as "child safe") but I can not police all of the links on my site all of the time. If a link is found to be objectionable, it is removed as swiftly as possible. Users can notify me of any objectionable links by clicking............

I have a few partner programs and links to outside sites that provide my visitors with services or goods of some kind. I do my best to investigate each partner program and/or service provider before I add their link. Customs by Ripper is not responsible for any action by any other website or partner linked from my site. I want to provide my visitors with useful information and services. If a service or product is found to be of lesser quality than advertised, its link will be promptly removed. I have removed quite a few links to services that did not meet my standards and will continue to do so if warranted. Users can notify me of any problems by clicking.............

This site has several security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under my control. No outside source will EVER get any personal information from my site unless it is given by the visitor directly to that outside source (this is not possible to do on this site, you could only do this by leaving the site and following an outside link). I respect the privacy of my visitors and want them to return many times and not be afraid to leave any of their personal information with me. Any information I get will be used only to benefit my visitors, not to harm them in any way. I take my security and the safe use of visitor information very seriously. Users can notify me of any security issues they have or ask questions regarding security issues by clicking............

This site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving any promotional/marketing information from me. Please note that I have never and will never give out or sell e-mail or other contact information for any of my visitors for any reason. You will never get any 3rd party e-mails by giving me your e-mail address. I also no longer run a mailing list for fear of annoying any of my past, present and future customers and friends (and to be honest, it was a lot of work every month and I just don't have the time to do it all anymore, especially when I got a few complaints from people who forgot that they signed up for my monthly newsletter). This site also gives users the following options for changing and modifying information previously provided:

If you ever receive mail stating it is from Ripper's Mailing List, please notify me immediately.
