This Custom Tru-Flamed 2005 SSR won First Place in it's class at the 39th Annual Long Island Custom Car and Bike Show at the Nassau Coliseum, Thanksgiving Weekend 2007. It also won First Place at the 40th Annual Long Island Custom Car and Bike Show at the Nassau Coliseum, Thanksgiving Weekend 2008 |
January 09 Super Chevy Magazine:Talk about standing out in a crowd. Sergeant Chuck Junot (U.S. Army) had this 2005 SSR flamed by Long Island Customs. A Ram single-disc clutch ensured we had no problems in that department with the ultra-sticky Nittos. Rear-wheel horsepower for this monster sits right at 475. Not bad for a tune, cold air kit, and nitrous. On the stock tires with the nitrous, the best the truck could muster was a spinning 13.869 at 109.11 mph. |
