This Custom Painted 2000 Panzer won First Place in it's class at the 39th Annual Long Island Custom Car and Bike Show at the Nassau Coliseum, Thanksgiving Weekend 2007. It also won First Place at the 40th Annual Long Island Custom Car and Bike Show at the Nassau Coliseum, Thanksgiving Weekend 2008

2000 Panzer in black with True-Flames

A Panzer is an aftermarket Harley clone, based on the Softail design with an S&S 96 cubic inch Panhead engine.

This bike has all custom sheet metal. The tanks are stretched, the dash is customized, the front fender is a custom WCC fender and the rear fender is one-of-a-kind, with molded taillight and license plate and a custom front edge mated to the custom solo seat.

This is the second time the bike has been painted this color. It was painted red with blue skulls for awhile, but I like this paint scheme much better. So did nearly everyone else.....

First, it was completely disassembled. While it was apart, the grips and toolbag were also redone in gator to match the seat, which was done previously:

The parts were all painted black, then airbrushed with flames. A flaming skull was added to the rear fender: I even painted the air cleaner and the primary cover, which were previously chrome.

More pictures are coming, I plan to do this paint job over again. The tanks got chipped and scratched...

Only one person liked this paint job. It wasn't me. It was done the night before a show, and it was a rush job. You can tell just by looking at it that it was a rush job.
