Adding a Sticky Message
Time: September 03 05:10am

  • Open the message you want to be a "Sticky" message.
  • Copy the URL into a text editor like Notepad.
  • If you want a "Sticky" graphic, upload it to your Network54 realm.
  • Make note of the path to your graphic. PLEASE DO NOT LINK TO THE GRAPHIC ON THIS PAGE. If you do, you are stealing bandwidth and may be reported to your ISP for such abuse and your IP address may be banned from access to the internet...
  • Use the following code to insert your sticky message at the bottom/left of the Forum Description text box.
<p align="left"><img src="path_to_sticky_image"><a href="path_to_topic"><b>Sticky Topic Title</b></a></p>
Here is an example (change what is red in the example below to your data):
<p align="left"><img src="http://www.network54.com/Realm/MY_REALM/sticky.gif">
<a href="http://www.network54.com/Forum/MY_FORUM_ID/message/MESSAGE_ID">
<b>Sticky Topic Title</b></a></p>
That should do it....
You should end up with something like this:
 Sticky Topic Title
To have this page make the code for you, use the following form:
Image Location
Topic URL
Topic Title

Note, if you don't want the image, just type NO IMAGE in that box
and remove the <img src="NO IMAGE"> from the code on the next page
