These were done by welding a 3/8" nut to the frame on each side, then grinding and adding metal to smooth them into the radius of the side plates.

Hidden tank mounts were also added:

Making the tank fit the frame:

The tank needed extensive work on the tunnel and the rear edge was made to fit the seat exactly. The neck of the frame was also custom-molded to match the curve of the front of the tank.

Primer with Guide Coat:

Guide coat is just a different color than the primer, which helps to locate any trouble spots while sanding
