Custom 1978 FXE Stretched Tank:

Gas cap was changed to an aircraft style cap:

The tank was also stretched 4"

Somehow, the full size images here were lost:

It's not enough of a stretch to make a big fuel capacity difference, so we did a cosmetic stretch only. Larger capacity is also available in a stretch job.

The fenders got some minor work:

The front fender was brand new. It needed some smoothing, however...
I removed the bracket, which was riveted on. Chrome bolts will replace the rivets

The rear fender needed the same finishing work as the front, except there are no bolts or rivets to worry about:
