Latest work

There was a ton of work done to the hood......
The center rib was removed and the hood was flattened. Then, a forward-opening hinge was radically modified to fit and then made to work. Most of the hinge was cut away and new metal was used. This was needed to make the hood flip past the front bumper and hang low enough to make the murals visible from all viewing angles. The inside of the hood was also radically modified. Expanding foam was used to shape the inside of the hood (used to keep the weight down as much as possible), then fiberglassed over to mate up with the carbon fiber hood.

There was so much more work done to this car that is not so evident. One of the less noticeable modifications was the carbon fiber rear roof spoiler. This was originally added by the car's owner. He simply glued the spoiler on top of the original hatch (manufacturer's recommendation). It was decided that it did not flow properly, so that was changed. The spoiler was molded to the roof with epoxy and then body filler. It now looks as if it were originally part of the hatch. Even the window squirter was left functional, although hidden behind the spoiler...

I also re-cleared the car (and added some more airbrush work just for fun)....:

As you can see, most of the bolted-on parts were removed, and a set of old rims was bolted on. The headlights stayed on because they are partially painted body color, so they had to be taped anyway.

Past Work:

Lambo Doors. This was the first car on Long Island to have rear Lambos. the entire war was sanded and repainted the stock color before the graphics were started:
