New Location!!

Customs by Ripper has relocated to:
49 N. Main Street (Rear)
Freeport, NY 11520

I am returning to a spot that did pretty well in the 80s. The previous location was at 77 Buffalo Ave (on the corner of Buffalo Ave and Mill Rd), in front of the old Freeport Race Track.

The racetrack is no longer there. It is a Walmart or something like that now and the old shop was Collision King the last time I drove by. It has been quite awhile since I've been down that way however. If I have time, I'll update..

Directions:

By Car:

Southern State Parkway to exit 21 Nassau Rd. (Eastbound, go to 2nd traffic light and turn right onto Nassau Rd. Westbound, turn left at the top of the exit ramp at Nassau Rd.)
Head south for about a mile to 49 N. Main Street. (On the right, there is an accounting office in the front.)

By Truck:

Sunrise Highway to Henry Street in Freeport (Dunkin Donuts on corner).
Head north to Broadway (Firehouse will be almost straight ahead) make left.
Go 1 block to North Main Street, make right.
Go approximately 1 block to 49 N. Main Street. (On the left, there is an accounting office in front).

LIRR

The LIRR Freeport train station is about 1/4 mile, maybe less, from the shop. In the event you need to take a train to reach the shop, you need to take the Montauk branch line to Freeport.
