2008 Suburban 1 Suicide Door

I know, you're saying "One suicide door? What the heck?" Well, there is a story behind it. The vehicle owner is in a wheelchair. He needed easy access behind the driver seat to store his chair. A suicide door was the obvious solution. There was also a motorized chair lift installed by another shop. I looked into becoming an authorized installer, since the owner had problems with the shop that did his install, but it was far too expensive to get started doing this. It would be a challenging addition to all of the other custom work I already do, but it was not to be.
