Suicide Doors:

This entire job was done in the street (I don't usually do things like that, but the owner got caught up in my ex-partner's abandonment of the shop while I was home recovering from an illness, so I made the exception this time). I now work alone as I can trust no one else for any reason. This car is the only exception, as the car owner is intricately involved in the process.

The dual Frenched electric antenna idea was scrapped, but the last picture above shows the holes that were cut anyway...

The door jambs required quite a bit of filling. Each hole was welded shut (using a flux core welder, by the way, which worked fairly well. I was surprised). The rear section was replaced with a piece of 16 gauge sheet metal:

We added a hinged flap to the inner wheel well/fender support for access to the in-fender TVs. Yes, this car will have TVs in the fenders and the quarters, as well as the dashboard and inner door panels, headrests and a few other places I probably forgot about.
