1999 Passat

This is a car that was sold a long time ago... I still miss it. It had a 327 4 bolt main engine with a Z-28 cam, Camaro rear and 4 speed from a Corvette. The paint was my first attempt at spraying urethane basecoat. It was PPG Deltron DBU with NCT clear (I later found out the NCT clear was not the best choice, but....)
The color was a 1980s Ford color, not sure of the exact year or color code anymore |

In the first picture you can see a 50s Chrysler and a 36 Plymouth under the tarp in the background. The hemi in the Chrysler eventually ended up in another car and the Plymouth was traded away (another mistake, but we live and learn...) |
