Customs by Ripper has been in business since 1978 and I stand behind all of my work for as long as you own your vehicle. My customers are not only customers, they are friends. I have had several past, present and future customers that have come to my shop, promote me and advertise for me, all without any ulterior motives or promises of anything. I just try to make my customers happy and they respond by trying to do the same for me. I have done work for the children of customers and they are now also lifelong customers, same as their parents.

I specialize in making your dreams come true. I can convert your vehicle into a one-of-a-kind showpiece. I have been doing so since 1978. I can complete your vehicle from any level to any level. There is no job too big and no job too small. I treat every vehicle as if it were my own. I don't discriminate against any make, model, point of origin, etc. I have done work for lawyers, judges, cops, car clubs, motorcycle clubs, other shops and everyone else, for that matter. Who you are does not matter, same as what your vehicle is (or even non-vehicle as I have painted musical instruments, computer cases, game consoles, and many other non-automotive items).

NOTE - My paint work is covered by the PPG Paint Performance Guarantee Program, which covers defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the part I painted. I have been a member of the International Show Car Association for several years. I have also won many awards, trophies, etc., including several "Best Paint" and "Best of Show" trophies from my 32 years of service to the NYC/LI area. My work has been seen in Super Chevy Magazine, Hot Rod Magazine, Hot Rod Bikes Magazine, LI Rides Magazine, Full Throttle Autos Magazine, Hot Rod Hotline Online Magazine, The Horse Backstreet Choppers Magazine, Underground Chopper Magazine as well as being featured on News12 Long Island from the Universal Custom Car Shows Thanksgiving Show at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Newsday and Hofstra University's Television station, to name a few.....
