About Long Island Customs

Long Island Customs has been in business on Long Island since 1978 and we stand behind all of our work for as long as you own your vehicle. Our customers are not only customers, they are friends. We have several past, present and future customers that come to our shop, help us in and around the shop, promote us and advertise for us, all without any ulterior motives or promises of anything. We just try to make our customers happy and they respond by trying to do the same for us. We have done work for the children of customers and they are now also lifelong customers, same as their parents.

Our shop specializes in making your dreams come true. We can convert your vehicle into a one-of-a-kind showpiece. We have been doing so since 1978. We can complete your vehicle from any level to any level. There is no job too big or too small. We have several customers who like to tinker on their own vehicles. We not only allow that, we encourage it (as long as they don't mess up our work, of course). We even let them use the shop, if possible. We treat every vehicle as if it were our own. We don't discriminate against any make, model, point of origin, etc. We have done work for lawyers, judges, cops, car clubs, motorcycle clubs, other shops and everyone else, for that matter.

NOTE - Our paint work is covered by the PPG Paint Guarantee Program, which covers defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the part we painted. We have been a member of the International Show Car Association for several years. We also have won many awards, trophies, etc., including several "Best Paint" and "Best of Show" trophies from our 30 years of service to the NYC/LI area. Our work has been seen in Hot Rod Magazine, Hot Rod Bikes Magazine, LI Rides Magazine, Full Throttle Hot Rod Magazine, Hot Rod Hotline Online Magazine, The Horse Backstreet Choppers Magazine, Underground Chopper Magazine as well as being featured on News12 Long Island from the Universal Custom Car Shows Thanksgiving Show at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
